  COUGHENOUR
  
  Mary E. Coughenour, 93, of Confluence, died July 10, 1997 at Patriot
  Manor.  Born Dec. 27, 1903, in Bond, Md.  A daughter of the late Cephas and
  Eliza (Darr) Wilt.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
  husband, Jesse W.; four brothers; and two sisters.  Surviving is a daughter,
  Sarah Ann and son-in-law, Ward "Buck" Newman; granddaughter, Shannon Newman,
  all of St. Louis, Mo.  Member of Confluence United Methodist Church, the
  UMW, and Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S.  Friends will be received 2-9 p.m.
  Saturday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held
  Sunday at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Snyder officiating.  Interment Addison
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Confluence United
  Methodist Church or the Confluence Ambulance Service.
