Coughenour, 72, 399 Riverside Ave., died Oct. 9, 1975, at Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1903, in Berlin, Pa., daughter of Albert and Mary Etta (Sarver) Myers. Preceded in death by parents and three brothers. Survived by husband, Stanford W., and these children: Doris, wife of Seward Layton, Johnstown RD 2; Phyllis, wife of Delbert Thomas, Hollsopple RD 1; Mary Alice, wife of Charles S. Carrico, Davidsville; Mervin, married to former Rosemary Bohrer, Burbank, Calif.; and Donald, married to former Betty Parker, Haymarket, Va.; also 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by stepmother, Mrs. Celia Myers, Berlin; brothers, Merle, Dearborn, Mich., and Joseph, Berlin, and sister, Mrs. Elzabeth Miller, Somerset. Member of Ferndale United Methodist Church, Lifeline Pioneer Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Howard G.
