  COUGHENOUR
  
  Stanford W. Coughenour, 88, of Johnstown, died Aug. 22, 1994, at Conemaugh
  hospital.  Born Feb. 26, 1906, in Bedford County.  Son of Arthur and Ida
  (Miller) Coughenour.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former
  Mildred M. Myers; sister, Myrtle Nolf, and grandson, Jerry Coughenour. 
  Survived by children: Doris, married to Seward Layton, Johnstown; Phyllis,
  widow of Delbert Thomas, Hollsopple RD 1; Mary Alice, married to Charles S.
  Carrico, Davidsville; Mervin, married to the former Rosemary Bohrer,
  Burbank, Calif., and Donald, married to former Betty Parker, Knoxville,
  Tenn.; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and a
  great-great-grandson.  Member of the former Supervisors Management Club. 
  Retired supervisor of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown.  Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home,
  215 Central Ave., Johnstown, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday.  Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
