COUGHENOUR William W. Coughenour, a prominent citizen of Allegheny Township, passed away at his home near Glen Savage, at 6 a.m., Nov. 22, following a week's illness. He was a son of the late Isaac and Mary (Fair) Coughenour, and was born September 20, 1856, on the homestead where he died. Mr. Coughenour's wife died about three years ago. He is survived by the following children: N. W. Coughenour, of Hazelwood, Pa.; Anna B. Coughenour, of Holsopple, Pa., and Frank P. Coughenour of Burlington, Wis., and several brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and for many years a member of the Church Council. The funeral services were held at his late home on November 24, with interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, the services being conducted by Rev. Petrea of the Lutheran Church. Meyersdale Republican, November 27, 1930
