Coughenour, 72, of 1732 South Charles St., Baltimore, Md., formerly of Fairhope RD 1, died May 20, 1990, at home. Born May 15, 1918, in Allegheny Township, son of Edward and Susan (Glessner) Coughenour. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Elmer and Eugene; sister, Myrtle; and five infant brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Eunice Hartge; these children: Mrs. Pamela J. Edwards and Frank, both of Baltimore; grandchildren, Matthew Coughenour and Jillian Edwards. Brother of Ira of Markleysburg; Mae Burkett, Cumberland, Md.; Romaine Keller of Somerset, and Pearl Engleka of Fairhope RD 1. A World War II Army veteran. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 10078, Baltimore. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
