Born Sept. 9, 1922 in Jefferson Township. Son of Solomon Daniel and Annie Mae (Mull) Bruner. Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur Wash Countryman who died Oct. 2, 1996, great-grandson Aaron Short, a brother Harry Bruner and a step brother Elmer Bruner. Survived by children: James D. Bruner married to the former Nancy Armstrong of Somerset; Mrs. Edward E. (Judith) Schrock of Somerset; Roy L. Countryman married to the former Betty Hostetler of Somerset; Ms. Linda S. Hockenberry, Somerset; Mrs. Donald A. (Nancy) Weigle, Somerset, and Mrs. Russell (Joyce) Stahl of Rockwood. Also 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and sister Leona Shaffer of Jones Mill. Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Friends received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home Somerset, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. George F.
