Born Feb. 8, 1931, in Lincoln Township, daughter of Mabel and Dwight Long, Friedens RD 2. Preceded in death by infant sister. Surviving besides her parents: sister, Pauline Koontz, Jenners; brother, William Long, married to former Palma Nicholson, Rockwood; and close friend, Glenn Watson, Somerset. Also nephews, Rex and Jeff; nieces, Monica, Tracey and Leanne; and great-nephew, Billy. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. Worked as cook in various Somerset restaurants. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Friday 11 a.m., the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.
