EVA COURTNEY

  Mrs. Eva (Grew) Courtney, 29, wife of Robert Courtney, Sand Patch, died early 
Monday morning, Feb. 8, in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital, where she had been a 
patient for the past 10 days.  She was a daughter of Austin and Mary Plitt Grew 
and was born at Summit Mills, April 26, 1914.
  She is survived by her husband and three-year-old daughter and her parents.  
Funeral services were held at the Courtney home, Wednesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. 
Father Howard T. Miller, rector of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church 
officiating.  Burial in the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of R. Reich & 
Son.
