Cover died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1941, at 1 o'clock at his home at Winding Ridge, Pa., on the National Pike, where he lived ever since he came to this community. He was born Dec. 24, 1861, and was aged 76 years, 29 days. He was married to Lucy Failinger, who died two years ago. He leaves an adopted daughter, Mrs. Marie Cover Foreman, of Washington, D.C., and two sisters, one in Dixon, Ill., and Mrs. Hauger of Berlin, Pa. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at H. B. Rishebarger's funeral parlor by Rev. John O. Martin, Methodist Episcopal minister of Confluence. Pallbearers were Frank C. Wright, Nelson A. Wright, Armor Rush, Frank J. Shirer. Interment was in Addison cemetery on the family lot beside his wife. Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Marie Cover Foreman, daughter, Kathleen, and son, Charles Jr., Mrs. Rose Fry, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Hauger and son, Berlin, Pa.
