All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ MILTON COVER Milton Cover of Beachdale, Garrett RD, died at 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, in Somerset County Community Hospital, where he was taken following an accident by falling rock in the Bittner-Crober mines near Berlin. The incident occurred at 11:30 a.m., Thursday. Mr. Cover was born in Brothersvalley Township, April 8, 1893. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Beachley, and by an uncle, the Rev. Albert B. Cover, and an aunt, Mrs. Ada Cover Craig, both of Somerset RD 5. He was a member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren and was a veteran of World War I. He will be greatly missed in the community in which he lived, for the many deeds of kindness which he did. Friends were received at Johnson & Son Funeral Home until Sunday at 2:30 p.m., when funeral services were conducted in Beachdale Church of the Brethren, the Rev. A. J. Replogle, assisted by the Rev. Percy C. Miller, officiating. Interment was made in the Beachdale Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 3, 1949
