  Dr. William P. "Pete" Cover, 82, of Meyersdale, died March 22, 1996 at his
  home.  Born Nov. 7, 1913, in Meyersdale.  A son of the late John N. and
  Nancy (Hammond) Cover.  Survived by his wife, the former Marjorie Adamson,
  and these children: Peter J., married to the former Barbara Tressler,
  Alexandria, Va.; Suzanne C., wife of James L. Matthews III, Portland, Ore.;
  and Julia C., wife of Michael W. Rose, Los Altos, Calif.; and three
  grandchildren: P. Aaron Matthews, Suzanne C. Rose, and Haley E. Rose.  A
  brother of John H. Cover, and Sara C. Braucher both of Meyersdale.  Member
  of Amity United Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge Meyersdale, B.P.O.E. Lodge
  1951, and American Legion Post 112.  Graduate of Franklin & Marshall
  College and the University of Pittsburgh.  He practiced dentistry in
  Meyersdale for 40 years.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted 2 p.m.
  Monday at the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, with pastor Lamar Bender
  officiating.  Memorials may be made to donor's favorite charity.
