  COVERT
  
  Virginia Hope Covert, 81, of Somerset, formerly of Listie, died Sept. 17,
  2000 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 13, 1919 in Johnstown, son of Frank
  and Sara (Samuels) Wentz.  Preceded in death by parents.  She was the
  youngest of 18 brothers and sisters who preceded her in death.  Survived by
  husband Dallas Bernard Covert Jr. of Somerset; son David B. Covert married
  to the former Maria Murtha of Johnstown; two granddaughters Catherine and
  Angela, and two great-grandchildren.  Member of First Christian Church,
  Somerset.  Employed as a cook at Friedens Elementary and Maple Ridge School
  retiring in 1977 with 20 years service.  Friends will be received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Daniel F. Nicksich
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
