  COWHER
  
  Henrietta L. Cowher, 94, Maple Mountain Manor, formerly of Somerset, died
  Nov. 2, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 9, 1891, in
  Schellsburg, daughter of late Charles and Sarah Catherine (Ellenberger)
  Lape.  Preceded in death by husband, Thomas Clifford; two sons, Kenneth and
  Charles; and a brother and a sister.  Survived by two daughters: Mrs. Fred
  (Kitty) Shaffer, Somerset; and Mrs. Ann Ruth Strobeck, Alexandria, Va.;
  also eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Somerset.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday at
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Graveside service and interment at 1:30
  p.m. Tuesday at Husband Cemetery, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  In
  lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or
  favorite charity.
