MAUDE BODES COWIE

  Mrs. Maude (Bodes) Cowie, 53, of Akron, Ohio, died at her home there on 
December 27th.  Mrs. Cowie was a daughter of Henry and Mahala (Folk) Bodes, both 
deceased, and was a native of Elk Lick Township.  In addition to her husband, 
Wade Cowie, she is survived by a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Francis Wade, and 
granddaughter, Sharon Lee Wade, all of Akron; four brothers, Milton, William, 
Ernest and John Bodes, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie McClintock and Mrs. Harry C. 
Rhoden, all of Elk Lick Twp.  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on 
December 30th at the Eckard Funeral Home in Akron.  Interment in the Glendale 
Cemetery there.
