  BERNARD W. COX
  
    Bernard W. Cox, 80, Meyersdale, died Saturday, Nov. 9, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born in Meyersdale Feb. 18, 1888, he was a son of the late James and
  Elizabeth (Beal) Cox.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former
  Nora Christner, four sisters and a brother.
    He was a member of FOEagles, Somerset, the Somerset American Legion Post,
  UMWA Local 7896, Friedens, and was a veteran of World War I.
    Requiem mass was celebrated Monday in SS. Philip and James Catholic
  Church by Rev. J. Clark George.  Interment was made in the parish cemetery.
