(Bill) Cox, 64, of Somerset RD 5, died Feb. 4, 1980, in Brothersvalley Township. Born Dec. 9, 1915, in Huntingdon, son of the late Warren Blair Cox and Margaret (Hoffman) Cox Gallagher. Survived by wife, the former Betty Jane Gump; two children, Warren W., Stoystown RD 3, and Edward A., Berlin RD 4. Also four grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Dean (Marion) Cherry and Fred B., both of Huntingdon. Member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset; Roxbury and Somerset Sportsmen Clubs; Trapper Association; N.R.A.; American Legion. Retired district game warden of District 2562. Graduate of Huntingdon High School and the Ross-Leffler School of Conservation. Veteran of World War II. Death ended a marriage of 40 years. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m., the Rev.
