ANNA THOMAS CRABTREE

  Anna Thomas Crabtree, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. 
McElwain, McKeesport, July 19, 1944.
  Mrs. Crabtree was born at Mt. Pleasant, Pa., 1860.  She was the daughter of 
the late John Patton Thomas and Dorcas Daymond Thomas.  She was a resident of 
Somerset County for 80 years.  She made her home at Ursina with her sister and 
two brothers, who have preceded her in death.  She was a member of the Jersey 
Baptist Church.
  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. H. McElwain, McKeesport; three 
grandchildren, Mabel Springer Porter of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Dorothy Daymond Keirn of 
McKeesport and Frank U. Springer, U.S. Army and by two great-grandchildren, 
Mabel L. Springer and R. Bruce Porter.
  Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the C. B. Humbert Funeral 
Home.  Rev. George W. Meadows and two evangelists officiated.  Interment in the 
Jersey Cemetery.  Charles B. Humbert was the mortician.
