  M. PERCY CRABTREE
  
    M. Percy Crabtree, 88, of 555 Maryland Street, LaVale, Md., died Nov. 8,
  1981 in the VA Center, Martinsburg, where he was a patient 14 months.  He
  had been in failing health the past three years.
    He was born in Oldtown, and was a son of the late Thomas Crabtree and
  Emma (Zimmerly) Crabtree.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha
  (Gerlach) Crabtree in 1964.
    He was a retired self-employed building contractor, an Army veteran of
  World War I and a member of the Henry Hart Post American Legion, the 40 & 8
  Voiture and the Zion Reformed Church.
    He is survived by a son, Harold W. Crabtree Sr., LaVale, five
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary.
