"Chub" Cramer, 80, Berlin, passed on July 11, 2004, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Nov. 19, 1923, in Casselman, the son of the late Charles N. and Jennie (Mitchell) Cramer. Preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Alice (Hostetler) Cramer. Survived by his wife, Martha (Burket) Cramer; daughters, Barbara, married to William R. Glessner, Berlin, and Alice, married to Randy Adams, Schellsburg; grandchildren: Michael May, Melissa Fisher, James May, Melanie Kimmel and Samantha Adams; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Sheldon Cramer, Georgia, and Calvin Cramer, Scullton; and among many nieces and nephews, special niece Esther Ash. He was a 20-year deputy warden for the Pa. Game Commission and was the owner of Cramer's Fur Post in Somerset. Veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II and was a member of the Laurel Ridge Sportmen's Club. Member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Edie and attended Berlin Alliance Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Church. The Rev. Barry Ritenour officiating. There will be one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment at the Bethany Church Cemetery. 07/12/2004 Daily American
