Cramer Sr., 68, Hooversville, died June 16, 1998, as a result of a vehicle accident on June 9, 1998, in Lumberton, N.C. Born July 3, 1929, in Rockwood, son of Ernest and Lucy (Lape) Cramer. Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former Genevieve Baker, who died June 9, 1998, and son, James. Survived by these children: Clay R. Jr., married to the former Cheryl Becker, Stoystown; Edward, married to the former Barbara Shaw, Cairnbrook; Linda Clark, Meyersdale, and Darlene, married to Clifford Hays, Somerset; grandchildren: Robert and Chad Cramer and Yvonne and Grant Miller. Korean Conflict Army veteran. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown. Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club and New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Harry W. Bassett officiating.
