Cramer, 71, Champion, passed away Nov. 5, 2005, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. He was born April 2, 1934 in Indian Head, a son of the late Henry G. and Alice Phillippi Cramer. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by brother, Elwood Cramer and sister Ruby Goron. Frank was a life long resident of the Indian Creek Valley. Frank is survived by his loving family, his wife Geraldine M. Ritenour Cramer with whom he would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24, 2005; children, Cathy Sue Johnson and husband David of Normalville, David Cramer and wife Tammy, Jerry Cramer and wife Laura, and Brian Cramer and wife Darla, all of Indian Head; brother-in-law Jerry Ritenour of Acme, who he helped raise and was like a son to him; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother George E. Cramer, Indian Head and sisters, Aletha Boltendahl, Connellsville and Mazie Emanuel, Turtle Creek. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1953. Prior to his retirement after 38 years of service, Frank worked as a pulp splitter for the Anchor Hocking Corp. Closure Division in South Connellsville. For the last 15 years he had been co-owner of Jerry's Western Shop in Champion. He was a member of the Indian Head Church of God. Frank loved the outdoors and his favorite hobby was hunting. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dennis Arndt officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
