He was born Jan. 20, 1920, in Saltlick Township, a son of the late Henry G. and Alice Phillippi Cramer. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Mary Ellen Kaylor Cramer in 2005; one son, James Edward Cramer; two sisters, Ruby Goron and Aletha Boltendahl and three brothers, Elwood, Clifford and Frank Cramer. He is survived by his son, Robert E. Cramer, Indian Head; step-son, William Kaylor, South Connellsville; three step-grandchildren, Brocc, Bart Lee and Kara Dawn Kaylor and step great-grandchild, Kaylor; one sister, Mazie Emanuel, Turtle Creek; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Cramer, Champion and Naomi Shaffer, Stoystown; a brother-in-law, Florian Goron, Connellsville and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Cramer was employed by the Western Maryland Railroad for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in the European Theatre of Operations. He was a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way and a lifetime member of the Confluence VFW Post 7250. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev.
