Crawford, 94, of Somerset RD 1, died Sept. 1, 1981, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born June 4, 1887, in Johnstown, son of the late William E. and Mary Catherine (Krepps) Crawford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Trickett) Crawford in 1953, and a son, William, in 1974. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorotha Fisher, wife of Frank Fisher, Sebring, Fla.; three grandchildren: James Crawford of Somerset RD 1, with whom he resides; Gary Crawford of Rockwood; and Mrs. Carolyn Helman, Purgitsville, W. Va.; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer; a 70-year member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon RD 3; and a charter member of Rostraver Grange No. 919. Friends were received at the James C. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., Rostraver Township. Funeral services were conducted at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mary Howard officiating. Interment, Rehobeth Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
