She was born Aug. 9, 1873, in Addison Township, on the farm now owned by George Greaves. Her age was 68 years and 24 days. She was united in marriage to Milton Creg Nov. 15, 1894. To them were born seven children, two of whom died in infancy. Surviving are: Melvin Creg, Frances Guntner, and Jay Creg, all of Cleveland, Ohio; Martha Teats and Stanley Creg, New York. She was a noble mother and raised a good family, and leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss. Her husband died about nine years ago. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Dian Mitchell, of Terra Alta, W.Va., and one brother, Elijah Nicklow, of Ruffsdale, Pa. Funeral services were held at her home Friday afternoon, Sept. 5, at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Mary Richey, pastor of the Addison Methodist Episcopal Church, and Rev. John O. Martin, pastor of the Confluence Methodist Church, conducted the funeral rites, followed by interment in the Addison Cemetery beside the grave of her husband. Mortician Harry B. Rishebarger was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Creg had been a member of the Christian Church for 45 years. Meyersdale Republican, September 11, 1941
