Born Nov. 25, 1910, in Jenners. Son of the late Samuel and Catherine (Andronico) Crimone. Also preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Victor Crimone; sister, Mary LoNigro. Survived by wife, the former Virginia Barbera, to whom he was married 57 years; and these children: Dr. Samuel M. Crimone, married to the former Mary Fran Winkler, of Potomac, Md.; Joseph J. Crimone, married to the former Victoria Furman, of Somerset; grandsons: Joseph J. Crimone II of West Chester, Russell C. Crimone of Pittsburgh, and Justin E. and Nicholas A. Crimone, both of Somerset. Brother of Miss Angelina Crimone of Somerset. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, VFW Post 554, American Legion Post 181, FOE Aerie 1801. U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient in World War II. He was an avid bowler and loved to play Bingo in his retirement. Owner and operator of Ratsy's Restaurant for 39 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli, celebrant. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School, 433 W. Church St., Somerset, Pa. 15501. Wake Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
