  CRISE
  
  Ernest R. Crise, 69, of Somerset, died Jan. 29, 1978 in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  He was born April 23, 1908 in Somerset County, the son of
  William and Nellie (Hoffman) Crise.  He was preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Esther Kreger, and one sister.  He is survived by these
  children: Nancy, wife of Nevin Barclay of Somerset RD 6; Richard of
  Florida; Arden of Somerset; Jack, of Somerset RD 6; Margaret, wife of Jay
  Shaulis of Stoystown RD 2; and eight grandchildren.  He was a brother of
  Ruth, wife of Orlen King of Apollo; and Roy and Emerson, both of Somerset
  RD 4.  He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Somerset,
  the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1901 of Somerset and the Laurel Ridge
  Sportsmen.  Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday
  with the Rev. Theodore Cole officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
