  MRS. ERNEST R. CRISE
  
    Mrs. Esther R. Crise, 55, of Somerset, died May 29, 1973, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born May 24, 1918, in Somerset County, she was a
  daughter of the late Frederick and Sloan (Pyle) Kreger.  She was preceded
  in death by her first husband, Neil Herd.
    Surviving are her husband, Ernest R. Crise, two sisters, Mrs. Alice
  Porterfield, Markleton RD 1; Cindy Maust, Salisbury; and a brother, Zack
  Kreger of Stahlstown.
    She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset, and the
  United Methodist Women, and was president of the Beacon class.
    Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. Charles Hummel officiating. 
  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
