Crissey, 99, of Patriot Manor, formerly of Central City RD 1, died Dec. 3, 1998 at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 8, 1899 in Wellersburg, daughter of William and Ida (Moser) Long. Preceded in death by parents, first husband Joseph M. Blank, second husband, Robert R. Crissey, brother Cecil Long and sisters Mildred Witt and Bertha Robinette. Survived by these children: Kathleen Blank, married to Dr. Donald George, of Lexington, Ky., Joseph Leo Blank, married to the former Margaret Zahorchak, of Central City, Dorothy McDaniels, Somerset, Willa Keim, Ligonier, and Kay Wagenblast, Greensburg, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and sisters Nina Folk, Pearle Robinette, Alva Weimer, all of Cumberland, Md. Former Shade Township one-room school teacher and former secretary for Crissey Lumber. Member of Murrysville United Methodist Church. Former executive board member of Somerset Cooperative Extension Services and former Red Cross Volunteer during WWI and WWII. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday. Rev. Alice Jean Parker officiating.
