Born May 18, 1919 in Somerset Township. Daughter of John Earle and Marian Vesta (Geary) Critchfield. Preceded in death by parents, and two brothers, Dr. John Geary Critchfield and Harold Samuel Critchfield. Survived by brother Robert Wesley Critchfield married to Audrey Lang of Latrobe and niece Helen Marian Critchfield of Latrobe. Life-long member of Sipesville Church of the Brethren. 1938 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of Somerset Grange 1697 and was an avid gardener and outdoors person. A retired employee of former Somerset store of J.C. Penney Co. where she had over 50 years service. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Danny R. Bailey and Rev.
