  CRITCHFIELD
  
  Esther R. Critchfield, 73, of Friendship Village, Bedford, formerly of
  Fishertown, died April 3, 1994, in Altoona General Hospital.  Born July 8,
  1920, in Somerset County.  Daughter of the late William and Lila (Younkin)
  Trimpey.  Preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose, July 11, 1991, and
  also four brothers and three sisters.  Survived by two sons: Joe, husband
  of the former Nancy Croyle, Bedford RD 7, and James of Breezewood; also
  three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Sister of Mabel Marker of
  Somerset and Harry Trimpey of Westmoreland County.  She attended the St.
  Paul's Reformed Church at Cessna.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Jack Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville, where service
  will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Richard Lang officiating. 
  Interment in Bedford County Memorial Park.
