  CRITCHFIELD
  
  Mrs. Marian Mae Critchfield, 73, Friedens RD 1, died Nov. 5, 1979, at her
  residence.  Born May 20, 1906, in Jenner Township, daughter of the late
  Alvin and Carrie (Hoffman) Fritz.  Also preceded in death by three brothers
  and two sisters.  Survived by husband, Norman S.; a daughter, Mrs. Esther
  Ankeny of Friedens RD 1; two grandchildren, Barbara, wife of Tim Welsh of
  Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Kim Ankeny of Friedens RD 1.  Life member of Zion
  Hoffman Lutheran Church and Seventh Society of Farm Women.  Friends are
  being received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will
  be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. William Snyder
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
