  CRITCHFIELD
  
  Mrs. Mary Jane Romesburg Critchfield, 47, of 850 E. 23rd St., Erie, passed
  away Thursday evening at St. Vincent's Hospital after an extended
  illness.  She was born March 22, 1924, in Black Township, Somerset County,
  and was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Lulu Tannehill Romesburg.  She
  is survived by her husband Dwight W. Critchfield, Erie; one son, PFC James
  Rickford Critchfield, stationed at Camp LeJuene, N.C.; one daughter, Luann
  Marie Critchfield, Erie; two brothers, Dale E. and Clarke E. Critchfield,
  both of Rockwood; and a sister Mrs. Alma Schrock, Rockwood.  She was a
  member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Rebecca Circle;
  Alter Guild; L.C.A.; and Pride of Erie, Lodge 600.  She is a 1941 graduate
  of Rockwood Area High School.
