Born July 3, 1915 in Meyersdale. Daughter of the late Moses and Edith (Beals) Wengerd. Preceded in death by her second husband, Robert Croasdale, niece Harriet "Penny" (MacMurdo) Gardner; sisters Marie MacMurdo, R.N. and Olis Trimpey, and first husband Charles Coffroth II Esq. She is survived by her daughter Cornelia "Connie" (Coffroth) Shaulis of Shanksville; son Charles H. Coffroth III of Attleboro, Mass.; grandchildren Jayne Marie and Jason Leslie-Taylor Shaulis and great-grandchildren Noah and Eve Shaulis. Also niece Nancy Storey and nephew John Trimpey. She began and operated the Somerset Window and Janitorial Service from 1959-62. She was employed by Cornell University in Ithaca N.Y. and the Seneca Army Depot in Seneca Falls, N.Y. She retired to Somerset in 1987. She was a member and officer of the Somerset County Art Association, the Garden Club, the PTA, the Somerset Hospital Auxiliary and the Somerset Welfare League. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m, Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Somerset Children's Aid Home at 574 E.
