NAOMI CROFT

  Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Croft, aged 50, wife of Harvey Croft, of 
Avilton, Md., who died in the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Tuesday, Dec. 19, 
were held Friday afternoon in Mt. Zion Methodist Church.  Rev. G. E. Bowersox, 
pastor of the Grantsville Lutheran Church officiated.  Interment in the Mt. Zion 
Church Cemetery.
  Mrs. Croft was admitted to the hospital on Monday, Dec. 18, and was operated 
upon for appendicitis.  Complications set in, causing her death.
  She was the daughter of the late Joel and Sarah Orendorf of Bittinger.  
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Charles and Robert; and two daughters, 
Ruth, at home and Mrs. Melvin Hileman, Frostburg, Md.   Two sisters, Mrs. L. G. 
Bittinger and Mrs. Earl Stanton, and two brothers, Simon Orendorf, Grantsville, 
and Asa Orendorf, Bittinger.
  Mrs. Croft was a member of the Grantsville Lutheran Church.
