Croner, 92, Berlin, died Aug. 17, 2005 at home. Born Dec. 13, 1912, in Brothersvalley Township, son of Joseph and Erma (Hauger) Croner. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Harold, Earl, Richard and an infant brother. Survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Betty Fike; children, John J., married to the former Mary Jane Persuhn; Norman G., married to the former Carol Burk; and Beth, married to Ernest Ohler, all of Berlin; and Jeanne, married to Bradley Myers, East Earl; grandchildren: Mark, Lorri, Joshua, Christy, Cassey, Candace, Michael, Jessica, Carley and Lydia; and great-grandchildren, Kacey, Rylee and Jacob. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Helen and Barbara Croner, both of Berlin. A 1932 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Lifetime Brothersvalley Township dairy and potato farmer. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Valley Grange, Senior Extension, Pa. Potato Growers Association, and Milk Inc. A 12 year member of PRO-FACS Pa. Potato Committee, and he served on the Municipal Committee for BBHS in the 1970s. He enjoyed card club and dancing. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. The Rev.
