Croner, 65, of 727 St. Paul St. Lewisburg, formerly of Somerset, died Oct. 27, 2003, at Hershey Medical Center. She was seriously ill for the past year. She was born Oct. 14. 1938, in Somerset a daughter of Jane (McNelly) Schrock, a resident of RiverWoods Lewisburg and the late Charles E. Schrock. Survived by husband of 45 years, Ronald H. Croner. She was a 1956 graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High School. She had formerly been a secretary at Walter's Tire Service Somerset. She was also manager of the Pa. House Outlet Lewisburg for a number of years. She was a member of the Lewisburg Order of the Eastern Star and had earlier served as Mother Advisor to the Lewisburg Rainbow Girls. Surviving besides her mother and husband, are one daughter, Jaynanne DeWire of Milton, two sons, Walter H. Croner Lewisburg and Michael Jon Croner of Selinsgrove and one brother Larry R. Schrock of Winchester Va. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cronrath Funeral Home Inc. Lewisburg and also from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ 10501 Buffalo Road Lewisburg where a funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Montandon Cemetery.
