  Ruth M. (Miller) Cropf, 76, of Glen Burnie, Md., native of Glencoe, died
  April 26, 1997, at home.  Born Oct. 7, 1920, in Glencoe, daughter of Frank
  and Harriet Eva (Poorbaugh) Miller.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brothers: John and Karl Bruce Miller, and sister: Bernice Lloyd.  Survived
  by a son: Bruce E. Cropf Jr., Fallston, Md.  Grandchildren: Jon Christopher
  and Alaina Michelle Cropf.  Sister of Earl Miller, Johnstown; Maurice
  Miller, Michigan; Marion Miller, Philadelphia, and Emily Miller, Arizona. 
  Mrs. Cropf underwent treatment for and was cured of leukemia in 1992.  She
  lived with her sister, Marion, in Glen Burnie.  Her interests included:
  Reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and baking.  Her greatest pleasure was
  entertaining her grandchildren.  Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.
  Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, Rev. Ralph G. Landis
  officiating.  Instead of flowers, memorials should be given to: Hospice of
  the Chesapeake, 8424 Veterans Hwy., Millersville, Md. 21108.
