  Dorothy Ann Crosbie, 48, Rockwood RD 1, died Nov. 17, 1988, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born June 15, 1940, in Clarion, Clarion County,
  daughter of Agnus (Gahagan) Spangler of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the late
  Luther Spangler.  Survived by her husband, Cliff; and three children:
  Jeffrey, Leesburg, Va.; Douglas, Orlando, Fla.; and Claudia, Stoystown;
  stepchildren: Cliff, Miramar, Fla.; Allison Carpenter and Kurt, both of
  Rockwood RD 1; one grandson, Luke; and 10 step-grandchildren; two brothers:
  Charles Spangler, Stoystown RD 3; and Donald, Palm Harbor, Fla.  She was a
  member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Shanksville, and employed in Somerset
  County Courthouse for 16 years.  Friends will be received Friday 7-9 p.m.
  and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral
  service Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Shanksville, with
  Pastor Horst H. Brandle officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour
  of service.
