  DOROTHY ROSALIE CROSBY 
  
  Dorothy Rosalie Crosby, 86, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Glencoe and Berlin,
  died Sept. 2, 2004, at Altoona Hospital.  Born July 25, 1918, in Sand Patch,
  the daughter of Charles Edward and Effie (Mankamyer) Compton.  Preceded in
  death by her parents; husband, Millard; grandson, Steven Crosby; sisters,
  Ruby Steinley and Mildred Eversole; brother, Raymond Stanley Compton and
  daughters-in-law Ruth and Linda. Survived by these children, Iskle M.,
  married to the former Mary Lindstrom, Meyersdale, Dale, married to the
  former Gloria Costello, Adelphi, Md., Ray, married to the former Cindy
  Ross, Boynton, Mavis, married to Bill Madara, Altoona; nine grandchildren;
  seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Madelyn Bittner, Corriganville, Md.
  She was a member of the Somerset Christian Fellowship and enjoyed crafts.
  The deceased had requested that the viewing and service be private for
  family and relatives.  The Rev. William J. Dodson will be officiating.
  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope.  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, in
  charge of arrangements.
