  CROSBY
  
  Millard W. Crosby, 88, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Berlin, died March 20,
  2002 at Bon Secours Hospital, Altoona.  Born June 8, 1913 in Glencoe, he was
  the son of Miles A. and Gussie Melinda (Kendall) Crosby.  He was preceded in
  death by his parents, grandson Steven Crosby, and two daughters-in-law, Ruth
  Crosby and Linda Crosby.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former
  Dorothy "Rosalie" Compton; three sons, Iskle M., married to the former Mary
  Lindstrom, Meyersdale; Dale, married to the former Gloria Costello,
  Adelphi, Md.; Ray A. married to the former Cindy Ross, Boynton; a daughter,
  Mavis C. Hoffman, Berlin; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
  He attended Somerset Christian Fellowship, Somerset, and was an Army
  Aircorps veteran of World War II.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will
  be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor William J. Dodson officiating. 
  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope.
