  CROSS
  
  Dr. John C. Cross, 65, of Meyersdale died July 20, 1994, at Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 13, 1928, in Larimer Township.  A
  son of the late John and Mary (Shockey) Cross.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Jeanne K. Keener, and these children: Lawrence F. Cross, Meyersdale;
  and Susan J. McIntosh, Fayetteville, Pa.  Also two grandchildren, Alyssa Jo
  and Spencer C. Cross.  A brother of Margaret Katherine Williams, Towson,
  Md.; Jessie Shirley, and Mary Lenore Reeder, both of Meyersdale RD 3; and
  Jean Doreguzzi, Yorba Linda, Calif.  Dr. Cross practiced dentistry in
  Meyersdale for 33 years.  Veteran U.S. Army 82nd Airborne.  Member of Amity
  United Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge Meyersdale, Harrisburg Consistory,
  BPOE Lodge 1951, ADM, Pa. Dental Association, the NRA, and Salisbury Elk
  Lick Rod and Gun Club.  Past president of the Meyersdale Rotary.  Past
  deputy game protector.  Treasurer of 4-Guys Inc., Meyersdale.  Friends will
  be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor
  Carl Mitchell officiating.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery.  Memorials may
  take the form of contributions to the Amity United Church of Christ Organ
