BERTHA SCHAFF CROSSEN

  Mrs. Bertha E. Schaff Crossen, wife of Elmer M. Crossen of Oroville, 
California, passed away Feb. 11, 1946 after having been in failing health for 
several years.
  She was one of ten children born to the late David Schaff and Louise 
(Critchfield) Schaff, all of whom preceded her in death except one sister, Sue 
E. Schaff, of Addison, Pa.
  On Jan. 16, 1912, she was united in marriage with E. M. Crossen, who survives 
and has been residing in Oroville, for nearly 30 years.
  She was a member of the Methodist Church since early life.  Burial was made at 
Oroville.
