Rev. Virgil R. Gillum officiated and interment was in the adjoining cemetery under the supervision of William Winterberg, local mortician. Mrs. Harry L. Yommer was the soloist. Pallbearers were Harry Miller, Gideon Miller, Howard Miller, Leland Swauger, Henry Durst and Floyd McIntyre. Mrs. Crowe died about 10 o'clock Wednesday night, March 4, at her home at New Germany, Md., at the age of sixty-four years. She had been in failing health for about a year. Born in the rural section of Barton, Jan. 14, 1878, she was a daughter of Peter and Mary Ellen Broadwater McIntyre. She had made her home in the New Germany community for many years. For more than fifty years she had been a member of the New Germany Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Stanley Crowe, New Germany, two brothers, William McIntyre, Merrill, and George McIntyre, who resided with her, and a sister, Mrs. John Wiland, New Germany.
