  HUBERT J. CROWE
  
    Hubert J. Crowe, 39, of Avilton, died April 2, 1972, in Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, after an illness of several years.
    Born in New Germany, he was a son of Mrs. Melva (Broadwater) Crowe,
  Frostburg, and the late Samuel W. Crowe.
    Mr. Crowe was employed by the B&O Railroad and was a member of Mt. Zion
  United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Connellsville.
    Also surviving are a daughter, Connie F. Crowe, Bowling Green; three
  sisters, Mrs. Diona Broadwater and Mrs. Arlene Morris, both of Avilton;
  Mrs. Helen Broadwater, Salisbury; and two brothers, Milton, Cumberland; and
  Owen Crowe, LaVale, Md.
    Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Hafer-Sowers Funeral
  Home, Cumberland, with Rev. Thomas Daigle officiating.  Interment in New
  Germany Cemetery with military rites accorded by members of Farrady Post
  24, American Legion.
