OWEN CROWE

  Owen Crowe, aged 36 years, died at his home at New Germany on Saturday 
evening, November 19th.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Webster Crowe, and was 
born October 24, 1896.  He was married to Miss Nellie Poleman.
  Mr. Crowe was a World War Veteran and a member of the Earl H. Opel Post, No. 
459, of the American Legion.  He was a member of the New Germany Methodist 
Church.
  He is survived by his wife, a daughter, 5, a son, 2, a brother, Stanley Crowe, 
and his father and mother.
  A military funeral was held in the New Germany Church, on Tuesday afternoon.  
Members of the American Legion were pallbearers and conducted the military 
service at the cemetery.  Rev. A. C. Bell of Grantsville, officiated, assisted 
by Rev. Swan, of the Morgantown Methodist Church.  Burial was made in the New 
Germany cemetery.
