"Jack" Crowley, 80, North Rosina Ave., Somerset, died Nov. 28, 1976 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born May 11, 1896, in Olean, N.Y., a son of John and Margaret Murphy Crowley. He was the manager of the Governor Theater since living in Somerset from 1946. Prior to that, he had been with the Pennsylvania Railroad for 33 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, a veteran of World War I, member of Somerset Post 181 American Legion, and the Forty and Eight. Survived by his wife, Helen Blatt and these children: Margaret Rayburg, Somerset; John T. Jr., Columbus, Ohio; James and Robert F., Charleston, W. Va.; and Pat, wife of John Gilhooly, Livonia, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and three sisters: Margaret Reardon and Ellen Crowley, both of Allegheny, N.Y. and Ann Waldeck, Clarendon. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
