 OSCAR CRYER
 
    Oscar (Skip) Cryer, 50, of Grantsville, Md., superintendent of Savage
  River State Forest, died suddenly March 25, 1978, while visiting in
  Hinton, W. Va.
    Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Mrs. Alice B. Cryer Klear,
  Leonardtown, Md., and the late Oscar Cryer.
    Mr. Cryer served in the Marine Corps.  He was a president of the
  Grantsville Local, Maryland Classified Employees' Association and a member
  of Oakland Lodge 99, Fraternal Order of Police, Casselman Valley
  Sportsmen's Club and Maryland Arborist Association.
    Also surviving besides his mother, are his widow, Mary (Link) Cryer; two
  brothers, James Cryer and Leo Klear, both of Leonardtown, Md., and a
  sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Brynteson, Lexington Park, Md.
    A Christian wake service was held Tuesday at the Bishop Funeral Home,
  Leonardtown, and Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at
  our Lady's Catholic Chapel, Leonardtown.  Interment, Mt. Aloysius Cemetery.
