Va. Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Mrs. Alice B. Cryer Klear, Leonardtown, Md., and the late Oscar Cryer. Mr. Cryer served in the Marine Corps. He was a president of the Grantsville Local, Maryland Classified Employees' Association and a member of Oakland Lodge 99, Fraternal Order of Police, Casselman Valley Sportsmen's Club and Maryland Arborist Association. Also surviving besides his mother, are his widow, Mary (Link) Cryer; two brothers, James Cryer and Leo Klear, both of Leonardtown, Md., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Brynteson, Lexington Park, Md. A Christian wake service was held Tuesday at the Bishop Funeral Home, Leonardtown, and Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at our Lady's Catholic Chapel, Leonardtown. Interment, Mt.
