Cumberworth, 62, of Star Route, Grantsville, Maryland, died September 19, 1989 at the Martinsburg, W.Va., VA Hospital. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Feb. 13, 1922, he was a son of the late Charles Curran Cumberworth and Helen Lenore (Worden) Cumberworth. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, had worked as a hydraulic mechanical engineer and was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V. in Holland, Ohio. Surviving are four sons, Paul G. Cumberworth, Virginia Beach, Va.; Charles C. Cumberworth, Fort Lee, Va.; Mark A. Cumberworth, Placentia, Calif., and Craig A. Cumberworth, Star Route, Grantsville, Md.; a brother, George Cumberworth, Toledo, Oh.; three sisters, Mrs. G. Joanna Ling, Sylvania, Ohio: Mrs. Virginia Mitruk, Toledo, Oh.; and Mrs. H. Jane Voelker, Columbus, Ohio, and seven grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Elmer Maust and the Rev.
