He was born at Mt. Zion, Oct. 1, 1924, son of Helmer and Salena (McKim) Cummins. He is survived by his mother, who lives n Orbisonia. Also by his wife, Jeannine (Shroyer) Cummins; one son, Leland Russell Cummins, Salisbury; and one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Deneen, Fairhope, RD 1; seven brothers: Blair, Earl and Arthur all of Baltimore, Md.; Robert, Warner Robbins, Ga.; Wilford, Michigan; Arlo, Frederick, Md.; and Richard, Plum Borough; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Goodson, Seffner, Fla.; and Mrs. Sara Emerick, Baltimore, Md. Also by four grandchildren. He was a retired rural mail carrier, served in World War II as corporal in the Army; member of Fairhope Community Church, where he served as trustee and Deacon, member of Hyndman VFW. Life Member of Paradise Valley Sportsmen Club and a member of the Berlin Area Historical Society. Funeral services were held in Fairhope Community Church, with the Rev. Leroy Logsdon officiating.
