Born Oct. 18, 1972 in Meyersdale. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Myrtle Cunningham and Lillian Long. He is survived by beloved parents, Richard and Shirley (Long) Cunningham of Berlin; much-loved fiancee Neely Malloy of Moundsville, W.Va. and her children: Seth, Charlee and Caitlyn. Also survived by a sister Kathy married to Carl Leer of Sidman; nephew Alex and niece Bethany. Also a grandpa, John W. Long of Berlin who will miss him deeply. He will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was a 1991 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was employed by Dandy Corporation. Eric loved life and driving tractor trailer, and hauled many loads across the country. He was an avid turkey and deer hunter and enjoyed watching NASCAR races. He served four years in the Army, two that were overseas, where he spent much of the time driving tractor-trailer. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. David McKinney officiating.
